WordRake for Microsoft Word and Outlook for Windows
You've signed up to try WordRake for Word and Outlook. These instructions will help you install one or both products.
To install WordRake for Word on Mac, please click here.
1. To get started, close all documents and quit Microsoft Word, and close all emails and quit Microsoft Outlook.
2. Click the blue button (below) to download and install WordRake for Word.
3. Next, click the orange button (below) to download and install WordRake for Outlook.
4. To use WordRake for Word, open a document and click on the WordRake tab above the ribbon.
5. For Outlook, start a new email (or reply to an existing one) and click on the WordRake tab at the top of your message.
6. Editing with WordRake is the same in WordRake for Word and WordRake for Outlook. When you’re ready for feedback, select Brevity and/or Simplicity to determine which types of suggestions to receive.
5. Next, click the Rake button and watch WordRake analyze your document and suggest improvements.
7. In under one minute, WordRake can make hundreds of editing suggestions that appear in the familiar track changes form. Your suggestions will look like this:
8. Use the WordRake Accept and Reject buttons to keep the edits you like.
Launch the WordRake Tutorial
We want to help you start Raking right way. If you don’t have an editing project to try out WordRake, don’t worry. Just click How to Use WordRake to launch the tutorial in WordRake for Word. It includes sample text to Rake and some tips to get started.
