Did you hear the news?
BriefCatch has acquired WordRake!
WordRake is no longer accepting bad edit reports, but we thank you for your interest in helping to improve the software.

You can learn more about BriefCatch below and by visiting our website: https://www.briefcatch.com/

Here's a message from BriefCatch Founder and CEO Ross Guberman about the acquisition:

Welcome to the BriefCatch family!

What is BriefCatch?
Like WordRake, BriefCatch is a legal-editing Word and Outlook plug-in. More than 50 of the AmLaw 200, dozens of federal and state agencies, hundreds of smaller firms, and most of the federal courts (including the highest court in the land) subscribe. LawCatch, Inc. is our parent company. Feel free to try out BriefCatch from within your browser: https://express.briefcatch.com/

What This Means Longer Term
BriefCatch intends to invest in WordRake's core capabilities and integrate them into BriefCatch. Over time, we expect to migrate WordRake customers to BriefCatch and eventually integrate the two products. We are not requiring you to move now, and we will share a proposed transition path before any changes are required.

Data, Security, and Privacy
This acquisition does not change how your content is handled. If any changes are proposed in the future, you will receive advance notice and appropriate documentation.

Optional Next Steps
If you have questions related to product roadmap, procurement/security questions, or what a migration would look like, or if you're interested in switching to BriefCatch now as an existing WordRake customer, please reply to this email or send your questions to help@briefcatch.com.

Our goal is simple: keep WordRake dependable in the near term, make the eventual transition straightforward and well-supported, and help you generate the best legal writing you can.
